Full job description

Dome Productions is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Freelance Class AZ Driver to support our transportation and logistics operations throughout Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles and the secure transportation of equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks and transport equipment to designated locations.
  • Comply with all applicable MTO, DOT, and company safety regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Plan travel routes and coordinate transportation schedules.
  • Secure and protect equipment during transport.
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance requirements.
  • Complete required transportation, inspection, and regulatory documentation.
  • Provide professional customer service to clients, partners, and team members.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and logistics support as required.
  • Travel throughout Canada and the United States, including extended periods away from home when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial truck driving experience.
  • Valid Class AZ Driver's Licence.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR.
  • Strong knowledge of MTO and DOT regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Truck maintenance and troubleshooting experience is an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada and enter the United States.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Complete all documentation necessary for a background check, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Successfully complete a drug and alcohol test in accordance with DOT regulations

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Work Location: On the road
