Position: Class 1 Truck Driver (Air Brakes)

About Arnason Industries Ltd.

Arnason Industries Ltd. is one of the leading general contractors in Manitoba servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our organization has a strong reputation for successfully installing water and sewer infrastructure including construction of water and sewage treatment facilities, crushing and road construction in large portion of Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Class 1 Truck Driver will be responsible for operating Semi-Trucks safely and efficiently to haul materials and equipment to and from job sites in challenging and remote locations. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours with long shifts on varying roads and weather conditions including winter and ice roads.

The typical schedule consists of 3 weeks on / 1 week off, working 12‑hour shifts, with camp‑based accommodations provided where required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate semi-trucks in a safe and professional manner

· Conduct thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections

· Load, transport, and unload materials as required

· Maintain accurate logbooks and trip documentation

· Assist with general shop duties as needed

· Comply with all company, provincial, and site-specific safety policies

· Communicate effectively with logistics coordinators and site personnel

· Keep equipment clean and report mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

· Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brakes endorsement

· Clean driver’s abstract

· Minimum 5 years of semi‑truck driving experience preferred

· Experience low bedding and end dump hauling an asset

· Experience driving on winter and ice roads considered an asset

· Strong knowledge of road safety regulations

· Willingness to work rotational schedules, extended hours, and live in camp settings

· Physically capable of moderate to heavy lifting

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude

Type: Full Time

Work Location: Remote

Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off, 12‑hour days

Wage: Starting at $26 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay and travel per diem
