Position Summary

This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory.

Location: Brampton, ON

Shift: Day 6:30am to 2:30pm Mon to Fri

Afternoon 3:30pm to 11:30pm Mon to Fri

Direct Deposit only No Cash

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads skids/pallets on/off trailers and transports to various areas within the plant.
• Places and removes skids from assigned bunks in safe manner.
• Ensures counts are accurate on materials being received and shipped.
• Wraps and straps completed skids from production line.
• May be required to work on the production assembly line.
• Exercises care for the safety of personnel, property and materials at all times.
• Enters data into company systems as directed.
• Completes daily maintenance check on the equipment and reports issues/problems to Manager.
• Cleans up work area at the end of the shift as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience for Crown Reach and Dock stocker
• Valid Forklift License.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate in word and excel applications.
• Knowledge of warehouse software applications.
• Knowledge of Shipping and receiving documentation.
• Knowledge of inventory would be an asset.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting
• Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer location
