Eassons Transport Ltd is currently seeking a full-time Corporate Sales Representative Canada and USA based out of our Kentville NS. HQ. If you consider yourself a “hunter”, who can find and engage prospective customers that we can serve with our LTL and TL Services as well as “cultivate” and organically grow our present customer base in Western Canada -this may be a fit for you!

We are looking for the best combination of a “hunter” and a “farmer”.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, the Sales Representative will have the following Responsibilities:

· Selling our services LTL (Less than Truckload) and TL (Truckload) using sound partnership selling skills to prospective customers and present customer base

· Identify, secure and CLOSE new business opportunities

· Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers vs competition

· Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability

· Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure and foster future sales

· Reach out to prospective leads through cold calling

· Expedite resolution process of customer problems and or complaints to maximize customer satisfaction

· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within a scheduled time frame

· Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other internal departments

· Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and update status reports

· Supply management with reports on customer needs, issues, problems, competitive activities, potential for new opportunities

· Keep abreast of market trends and best practices

· Continuously improve through feedback and personal growth

· Travel as required

· Other duties as required/assigned based on the needs of the position

Qualifications/Aptitudes:

· Proven work experience as a Sales Representative

· Previous Transportation Sales experience would be a benefit

· Excellent knowledge of Office 365

· Familiarity w CRM practices along w ability to build productive professional relationships

· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

· Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

· Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations to exceed customer’s needs

· Relationship management skills and open to feedback

· BComm Business and/or equivalent experience
