Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Earth and Environment team, based in Brampton, ON, reporting to the Executive Assistant of Earth and Environment Services for Central Canada.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Perform administrative duties at our flagship lab and office such as data entry, copying, collating, faxing, filing, document retrieval, scheduling coordination of meeting rooms, coordinating luncheons/meetings (including coordinating with client, coordinating with caterers, preparation of documents, etc.) mailings, information gathering, word processing, transcription and document binding and scanning.
  • Provide back-up/break coverage for reception and customer service assistance to employees and clients of the office. This includes greeting visitors to the office and handling mail and couriers.
  • Coordinate meetings, compose and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
  • Edit and format reports, proposals, and other technical documents.
  • Prepare client and proposal documents as requested, including resumes, specialized tabs for proposals, letters, etc.

What your experience looks like

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience in an administrative capacity
  • 1-2 years of office administrative experience
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Filemaker)
  • Detail-oriented, organized multi tasker and can meet deadlines
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment
  • Professional, self-motivated and ready to take initiative

This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization.

The hourly range for this role is between $20 - $24. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
