Job Overview

BIL Technology is the exclusive authorized dealer of DJI in Canada. We support major retail partners such as Best Buy, Costco, and London Drugs, while continuing to expand our local retail network nationwide.

We are looking for an engaging, knowledgeable, and hands-on DJI Product Trainer to deliver product and sales training, support product launches and retail events, and strengthen in-store execution. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about drones and consumer technology, communicates confidently, and can translate technical features into clear customer benefits and practical sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual product and sales training for retail associates, promoters, channel partners, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrate DJI drones and imaging products safely and professionally, covering product use cases, basic flight operation, aerial photography, and relevant Canadian regulations.
  • Support store execution through merchandising and inventory checks, product launches, workshops, promotional events, and follow-up visits.
  • Create practical training materials, sales tools, and short videos that translate technical features into clear customer benefits and selling points.
  • Build strong retailer relationships, identify knowledge or execution gaps, and collect customer, sales, and competitor feedback.
  • Complete timely post-activity recap reports with attendance, photos or videos, key outcomes, feedback, issues, lessons learned, and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English, with the ability to conduct professional B2B product training, presentations, and written reporting in English.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in training, retail sales, consumer electronics, brand promotion, field marketing, or public speaking is preferred.
  • Strong interest in drones, photography, videography, and consumer technology, with the ability to quickly learn DJI products, applications, and relevant regulations.
  • A confident and engaging communicator who can explain technical information clearly to both individuals and groups.
  • Organized, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up habits and the ability to manage multiple stores, schedules, and reporting deadlines.
  • Comfortable with hands-on product setup, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and changing priorities in a field environment.
  • Valid driving licence, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel domestically.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary of CA$3,800-CA$5,000 per month, based on experience.
  • Comprehensive product training designed to build strong expertise in DJI products and drone technology.
  • Opportunities to attend product launches, drone events, workshops, and demo days while working directly with national retail partners across Canada.
