As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be an essential part of our team by ensuring that client’s books are accurate, compliance deadlines are met, and customers feel valued.

Your Role:

We’re growing rapidly and require this role to grow to Manager who is eager to learn, share their experience and learning with team and ready to listen from clients and team members, strong desire to make a difference with clients. You'll be responsible for developing a strong, trusting relationship with each client and need to be confident in your ability to provide sound advice on issues that matter to them.

As part of the role you'll take a lead on operations of our practice including on-boarding new clients, migration of accounting/bookkeeping work with team, managing team and provide training as required, oversee the client deliverable, offer expert advice on accounting, tax laws and technology stacks to the client, review tax / financial statements and provide on-going support to resolve day to day operational queries. You will also be responsible for facilitating quarterly or annual meetings and will be the clients’ first point of contact.

Self-starter, professionalism, meticulous working and managing team is essential to this role. Communication is a key in managing multiple clients at any given point of time and we expect the same as second to the nature of this role.

Education and experience

As we are a public accounting firm, experience with (or demonstrated knowledge of) bookkeeping, accounting and taxation is critical to this role. Minimum requires consist of:

· Successful completion of a university degree;

· Holding a Canadian CPA designation or nearing its completion and Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience in public practice; OR holding Indian Chartered Accountancy designation with 1-2 years of Canadian accounting experience in public practice.

· You possess a working knowledge of the impact of accounting adjustments on corporate taxes, and completion corporate tax returns;

. Experience using CRA’s Represent a Client

. Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Canadian accounting firm setting

  • Have worked on PCLaw software for minimum 6 Months

. Go-getter along with process and results oriented. You observe and set processes that makes optimum utilization of resources

. Enjoy meeting new clients and setting framework for them – onboarding, setting up Books, setting them on time billing software. Based on set up, should be pro-active on defining requirements, source list of documents from clients.

Position Overview: Accountant

Accountant will play a pivotal role in our firm, overseeing the preparation, working and review of complex books and documentation to ensure compliance with current accounting standards and tax regulations.   • Bookkeeping workings and Compliance: Lead the preparation and thorough review of intricate bookkeeping and related documentation, ensuring adherence to the latest accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand and meet their accounting needs, building and maintaining robust relationships based on trust and professionalism.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of internal processes by implementing innovative strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all engagements meet the firm’s high standards of quality and efficiency
