We are a progressive bookkeeping and tax practice, founded on providing our clients advanced bookkeeping / tax solutions and the latest in technological integrations, all with best in class service.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse client base and contribute to the success of our firm.

Duties:

  • Full Cycle Accounting
  • Payroll including filing T4's & ROE's
  • Bank and Credit Card reconciliation
  • Government Filings (HST/GST, WSIB, T5, T5018)
  • Conduct thorough reviews of financial records to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to conduct year-end review in preparation for tax filing
  • Completes assigned work with a minimum level of supervision

Experience:

  • Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online & Desktop (Certified would be an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of account analysis, budgeting, payroll, AR, AP, and bank reconciliation
  • Proven Bookkeeping Skills (Accounting Diploma or Certification preferred)
  • Effectively communicates with clients and co-workers (written and oral)
  • Team Player, Open Minded, and always looking for efficiencies
