  • Luxury Associates are responsible for delivering the highest of Customer Service standards that exceeds customer expectations, and act as ambassadors of the brand, ensuring that all customers have a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Working at the YVR Vancouver International Airport

Responsibilities

  • Elevated customer interaction using the 6 steps of selling and service standards specific to the luxury category/brand
  • Exceed sales targets by consistently leveraging all available selling tools
  • Uphold elevated Visual Merchandising standards, both in the front and back areas....and More

Preferred Experience

  • Retail, sales, hospitality, tourism, or customer service experience.
  • Luxury retail experience (fashion, high-ticket luxury, watches, jewelry, handbags, accessories).
  • Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance product knowledge.
  • Wines, spirits, and liquor product knowledge.
  • VIP service, and consultative selling experience.

Preferred Language Skills

The ability to communicate in multiple languages is a strong asset due to the international nature of our customer base. Preferred languages include:

  • Mandarin
  • Cantonese
  • Korean
  • Spanish
  • Japanese

Important Employment Requirement

All positions at World Duty Free require candidates to successfully obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC). To qualify, candidates must:

  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Successfully complete a comprehensive 5-year background verification process.
  • Meet all Transport Canada security requirements.
  • Please note that obtaining RAIC clearance may take several weeks or months. Start dates are contingent upon successful completion of this process.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
