Full job description

Vancouver Water Adventures is a locally owned, waterfront company based on Granville Island. We help locals and visitors get out on the water through tours and rentals, and our front desk team plays a huge role in setting the tone for every guest experience.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm when things get busy, and likes being around the water.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and help them prepare for their tour or rental
  • Answer guest questions in person, by phone, and by email
  • Assist with waivers, forms, and check in procedures
  • Take reservations and support daily scheduling
  • Help oversee tour departures and rental flow
  • Keep the front desk and guest areas clean, organized, and welcoming

Requirements

  • Strong people skills and a positive attitude are essential
  • Comfortable speaking with guests from around the world
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast paced environment
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Attention to detail when managing bookings and guest information
  • Previous front desk or administrative experience is preferred

Pay: $19.35-$20.35 per hour
