The Drake Devonshire is a boutique hotel located in historic Wellington, Prince Edward County.

We are seeking dynamic, passionate Seasonal Prep Cooks, who are looking to join a fast-paced, talented kitchen team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a fantastic culinary team focusing on maintaining a clean workspace and efficiently completing tasks. The role is committed to high quality, and comfortable adapting to delegated tasks as needed to support service.

Responsibilities

• Working with seasonal ingredients for the preparation of all menu items including, washing, portioning, cutting, and chopping
• Assisting the BOH team with all preparation and organization in the kitchen
• Use existing prep skills, expanding new techniques and building your skill set

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Positive, team-player with a strong eye for detail
• Genuine interest in food and a good work ethic
• Open to constructive criticism, be an adaptable and fast learner, with a willingness to grow within the team
