For over 25 years, Mercatto is all about great food, genuine hospitality, and bringing people together across five locations.


Mercatto College St., located in the MaRS building, is looking for a Manager to help lead our team and elevate the guest experience. In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day flow of the restaurant, support and guide our people, and ensure every service runs smoothly, efficiently and with genuine hospitality.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead floor operations with a strong, service-first presence
  • Partner with the General Manager to support daily operations and leadership initiatives
  • Coach and mentor team members to foster a positive, respectful culture
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain consistent standards in service, cleanliness, and safety

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant operations or management (preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high-energy environment
  • Knowledge of scheduling, labour management, and cost controls
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest moments
  • Reliability and a solutions-focused mindset
