Company:

Founded in 2018, The Pot Shack Saskatoon Ltd. was established shortly after legalization and was the

first Recreational Retail Cannabis store to open in Saskatoon. We expanded our location in 2020 to

double-in-size and opened a second Saskatoon location in February of 2021. In the fall of 2021, we

purchased an additional location in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, followed by building a fourth location in

Yorkton, Saskatchewan in the summer of 2022. We remain committed to providing high-quality, great-

tasting cannabis with one of the largest variety of products, options and price-points you’ll find

anywhere. We proudly carry a broad menu of products which includes several of our own brand and a

few you won’t find available anywhere outside of Saskatchewan.

Job Summary:

Committed to excellent customer service and being part of a motivated team of employees who ensure

and support each other in the organizing, planning and implementing of strategies to have the best

destination cannabis store in town.

Job Type:

Retail Sales. Part-Time. Permanent. 5–7-hour shifts. Approximately 20 hours / week.

Compensation: $15/hr. - $17/hr. with room for wage increases after probation.

Availability: Days, Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends. Rotations and Schedules TBD.

Store Hours: 9 am – 10 pm Monday thru Saturday & 11 am – 8 pm Sundays

Job Qualifications:

Must have reached the age of 19 years.

Must have successfully completed the CannaSell course prior to first day of employment.

Must be able to provide a clean Criminal Record Check.

Must be bondable.

Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Minimum of one year experience in retails sales or hospitality or customer service.

Job Requirements:

Previous experience not required; As a Budtender you will become part of the team of Shack Mates and

have a willingness to learn the Cannabis Industry but are not required to have a lifestyle as a cannabis

user. It would be beneficial to have previous working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to the

selling of cannabis in Saskatchewan, but the CannaSell course will give you a good base to start.

Extensive training will be provided to all staff, regardless of previous experience or knowledge.

*Self motivated to ensure daily checklists of tasks and responsibilities are completed.

*Able to interact with people in a patient, kind and non-judgemental manner.
