Full job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Book, program and deliver private sessions and small group classes
  • Proactively identify, attract, and retain member to consistently meet health goals
  • Manage scheduling and organization of all sessions
  • Accurately issue and redeem sessions at the end of each shift
  • Attend quarterly team meetings and participate in departmental marketing initiatives
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all members and staff
  • Respond to all member and internal communications within 24-hours
  • Adhere to Cambridge Group of Clubs Best Practices and Guidelines

Working Relationships

  • Report directly to Pilates and Yoga Director
  • Collaborate with Personal Training Department, Fitness consultant, Sports Medicine Clinic and Group Exercise Department to support client referrals and integrated care

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Fully certified Pilates instructor (STOTT, Balanced Body, Power Pilates or equivalent) across all major apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel and Arc.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
  • Valid CPR and first aid certification
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Additional certifications or specialties, such as experience working with injuries and special populations, are considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education
