Position: Sales Associate

Reports to: Store Manager

Wage Offered: $17.85/Hour + Tips


Toptable Group's newest concept, Provisions Kitsilano on West 4th is an innovative cafe with an inspiring coffee program, fresh baked pastries and cookies, breakfast sandwiches, made to order sandwiches and salads, delicious smash burgers and more! Our open kitchen features scratch cooking with everything made in house.


About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you are the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. You’ll work across multiple areas, including counter service, cashiering, food expediting, and guest engagement, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver efficient, friendly service with a sense of purpose.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and teammates.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the menu and provide thoughtful recommendations to enhance guest experience.
  • Engage guests at every opportunity with warmth, and genuine curiosity.
  • Maintain food safety standards in compliance with Department of Health regulations.
  • Support the kitchen and service teams to uphold quality, presentation, and timing.
  • Assist with organization, replenishing supplies, food running, and bussing as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, including stations and guest restrooms.


What You Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality service or kitchens and asset.
  • Food Safe Certification is an asset.
  • Serving It Right is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
