Position: Barista

Reports to: Store Manager

Location: Kitsilano

Wage Offered: $ 18.25/Hour + Tips


Provisions Kits is an all-day neighborhood cafe offering a variety of take away items and dine-in service. We feature an innovative coffee program, fresh baked pastries and cookies, breakfast sandwiches, made to order sandwiches and salads, delicious smash burgers and more! Our open kitchen features scratch cooking with everything made in house.


Who You Are

As a Barista, you play a key role in crafting high-quality coffee beverages while maintaining exceptional service. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, work with precision, and collaborate seamlessly with your team.


What You'll Do

  • Craft expertly prepared espresso beverages, from cappuccinos to cortados, with precision and consistency.
  • Dial in espresso, pull great shots, and create latte art with confidence.
  • Stay up to date on specialty coffee and tea trends.
  • Work with urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Engage guests and colleagues with warm, genuine hospitality.
  • Handle counter service, cashier duties, food running, stocking, and organization as needed.


What we need from you:

  • Experience working as a barista in a similar environment.
  • A commitment to continue learning in the position.
  • Food Safe Certificate an asset.
  • Serving It Right is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
