CCM Contracting Ltd is a local industrial contracting company seeking a person to fill the Tool Crib Attendant role. The successful applicant should pay great attention to detail, possess excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Pull, package, and ship orders in accordance with order requisitions.
  • Confirm shipments are marked for the correct destination and are given to the designated courier/transport company.
  • Receive goods against Purchase Orders checking for damages and confirming quantities and quality.
  • Label incoming items and restock shelves.
  • Distribute incoming items as needed and follow up on outstanding issues in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload freight both manually and with equipment.
  • Ensure goods are packaged securely to protect against damage and loss.
  • Participate in physical inventory.
  • Maintain inventory records; assign locations, advise discrepancies.
  • Ensure work areas are safe, organized, and clear always.
  • Sweep floors in warehouse(s) and tool crib area.
  • Organize tools/items on shelves; wash and/or dust shelving.
  • Loading and unloading materials in the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor
  • Manage tool crib
  • Must upload equipment and materials into internal computer tracking system

Requirements:

  • Previous shop/shipping/receiving/expediting experience an asset
  • Clean criminal record
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Attention to detail, ability to focus, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Access to personal transportation as public transit is not available within reasonable walking distance.
  • Desired experience - 3 years
  • Benefits available after required waiting period.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Strong knowledge of construction tools/equipment is an asset.
