Tokyo Express is a fast-casual Japanese restaurant chain with multiple locations across Edmonton. We serve high-quality, freshly prepared Japanese food in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. We are currently looking for kitchen helpers in the St. Albert and Spruce Grove area.

The Role
We are looking for experienced Crew Members to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food to Tokyo Express standards while delivering fast, friendly service to every customer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to Tokyo Express recipes and portion standards
• Operate the cash register and process customer orders accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, service area, and dining room
• Follow all Alberta Health Services food safety and hygiene standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Assist with receiving and storing inventory deliveries
• Support team members during high-volume service periods
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant or food service experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Valid Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
