You bring proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities, contributing to a client-first culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make an impact in a fast-paced environment. You will manage complex immigration matters, provide strategic legal advice, and build strong client relationships while contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
What you will do:
  • Manage a high volume of U.S. employment-based immigration cases under strict deadlines
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, promoting a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high performance
  • Provide strategic legal counsel on NIV and IV matters while ensuring compliance. NIV matters may include, but not be limited to, cases in the H-1B, H-1B1, L-1, B-1, TN, E-2, E-3, and O-1 categories. IV matters may include, but not be limited to, I-140 petitions in the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 preference categories, adjustment of status applications, and consular immigrant visa applications
  • Prepare and review responses to Requests for Evidence, ensuring that responses are comprehensive and timely
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Conduct legal research and draft advisory opinions
  • Use data and reporting to monitor case progress, inform legal strategy, and ensure compliance with firm standards
  • Notify clients of immigration law changes and prepare alerts for publication
  • Stay current with developments in immigration law
  • Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent client service.
What you bring to this role:
  • Completed Law degree from an accredited institution
  • License and admission in good standing to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia
  • Experience managing high-volume NIV and/or IV cases for corporate clients
  • Knowledge of PERM labor certification preferred
  • Experience with consular immigrant visa applications preferred
  • Strong legal writing and technical knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management software

Adjustments and accommodations throughout the recruitment process

At KPMG, we are committed to fostering an inclusive recruitment process where all candidates can be themselves and excel. We aim to provide a positive experience and are prepared to offer adjustments or accommodations to help you perform at your best. Adjustments (informal requests), such as extra preparation time or the option for micro breaks during interviews, and accommodations (formal requests), such as accessible communication supports or technology aids, are tailored to individual needs and role requirements. AI Usage

We embrace the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the candidate experience and streamline our recruitment processes. AI tools may help with organizing applications or surfacing relevant qualifications. However, no hiring decisions are made using AI. Every hiring decision is made by our hiring managers and recruitment professionals, who are equipped with training that empowers them to use these tools responsibly. AI technologies used in our recruitment process undergo detailed risk assessments, including security and privacy requirements, that align with KPMG’s Trusted AI framework.

We believe technology should empower human judgment, not replace it. It’s one of the many ways we’re delivering on our vision of being a technology-first, people-driven firm.
