Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Stone Countertop Fabricator and Shop Help to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment focused on the fabrication and installation of high-quality stone countertops. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with power and hand tools, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing, construction, and warehouse operations within a supportive team setting.

Duties

  • Assist with the fabrication of stone countertops, including cutting, shaping, and polishing surfaces
  • Operate machinery such as saws, grinders, and other power tools with precision and safety awareness
  • Support team processes both in the shop and on-site as needed
  • Use hand tools for detailed work and adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
  • Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to move materials safely around the warehouse or job site
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
  • Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction activities
  • Responsible for reading work orders and following production list.
  • Responsible for completing the final touch up (polishing) of jobs coming out of production to make ready for installation. Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and smoothness, making adjustments as needed
  • Responsible for Loading and unloading the Titan and Fastback Machines.
  • Working efficiently to help attain goals per square feet.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, assembly, welding, and use of hand tools
  • Experience operating power tools and heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable
  • Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and adhere to all safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations or manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Deadline driven, able to handle multiple tasks while working in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials over 60 lbs
  • Valid Driver’s license

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
