Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Consultant for an onsite 6 month contract with the strong possibility of renewals onsite in Winnipeg, MB to The Change Management Consultant will provide organizational change management (OCM) services supporting changes and enhancements to technology, culture and/or business processes. The consultant will create and implement change programs designed to maximize employee engagement throughout projects, operational initiatives and business changes.
  • Apply a consistent change management discipline to develop targeted strategies, plans, stakeholder impact analyses, readiness assessments and related deliverables, including Prosci methodologies.
  • Partner with program, project, operational and business leaders and teams to integrate change activities, maintain alignment and support successful implementation.
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify impacted stakeholders, assess readiness, determine risks and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Provide expert advice and support for new processes, organizational changes, business readiness activities and change interventions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and collaborative sessions to co-create interventions and prepare impacted groups for transition.
  • Develop and coordinate change communications and tactics aligned with project documentation, timelines and key messaging.
  • Support people readiness activities, including evaluations, lessons learned, post-implementation assessments and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Identify change-related risks and advise leadership on mitigation, escalation and recommended actions.
  • Use tools such as Proxima, Azure DevOps (ADO) and MS Teams to manage, track and support assigned work.
  • Provide timely reporting on work progress, project tracking, time tracking, adoption, utilization and proficiency measures.
Required Experience
  • 7+ years of experience developing and leading enterprise change initiatives using change management methodologies.
  • Prosci Practitioner certification and experience applying the ADKAR methodology to change initiatives.
  • Experience working with project teams using project methodologies.
  • Experience developing change plans, identifying impacts, and creating strategies, plans and communications.
  • Experience providing coaching and consulting services to leaders.
Required Skills
  • Ability to develop change programs and readiness strategies that support business objectives.
  • Experience identifying measures and monitoring/reporting on the effectiveness of change management interventions and activities.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Solid knowledge of project management software such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira.
