The Vernon Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Relief Full-time Contract Advisor to join their team in Vernon B.C.

Your Role:
As a Contract Advisor, you play a key role in supporting effective contract management across Interior Health. Acting as a trusted resource for Program Managers, contractors, government ministries, and internal stakeholders, you provide expert guidance on contract policies, procedures, and best practices. You review new contracts, amendments, and renewals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational and government requirements.

In this dynamic role, you coordinate and monitor contract processes, develop and maintain financial tracking systems and databases, and help ensure service provider agreements are managed efficiently and consistently. You also support and train Interior Health staff in contract preparation and administration, contributing to strong partnerships, sound financial stewardship, and organizational success.

  • Grade 12,
  • Successful completion of a diploma in business or accounting, and a minimum of three year’s of contract experience with progressive experience working in a complex computerized environment; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Good knowledge of contract management and accounting procedures
