Veterinary Assistant – Join Our Caring Team at Oromocto Veterinary Hospital!

Do you have a passion for animals and a desire to make a difference in their lives? Oromocto Veterinary Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Here, you’ll work alongside veterinarians, technicians, and a supportive team to provide exceptional care for our furry patients.

What You'll Do:

  • Support our team in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care, including assisting with treatments, procedures, and radiology
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area and exam rooms to support smooth daily workflow
  • Create a positive, welcoming experience for clients by answering questions, providing support, and ensuring their pets feel safe and cared for
  • Assist with day-to-day hospital operations, including preparing medications, restocking, and maintaining accurate medical records in AVImark
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinarians, RVTs, and support team to ensure excellent patient care and client communication
  • Help advocate for our patients by being attentive, detail-oriented, and proactive in supporting their needs

  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate
