We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Worker to join our team. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong caregiving skills, and experience working with young children, including those with special needs. Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children during play, learning activities, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Prepare meals & snacks appropriate to each child’s age.
• Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages learning and creativity
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Support children with disabilities or special needs by providing tailored care and assistance as required

Requirements

• 19+ mandatory
• Completion of childcare specific courses or programs or willingness to complete prior to employment.
• Prior experience working with young children is preferred
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• References for Childcare experience is a must.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving best practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is mandatory or willingness to obtain certification.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
