About the Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will support daily production activities while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping. This position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.
  • Assist machine operators with production tasks and material handling.
  • Perform visual inspections and verify product dimensions using measuring tools as required.
  • Report any quality concerns, damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Stack, package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Move raw materials and finished goods safely using approved methods and equipment.
  • Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, with housekeeping as a top priority throughout the shift.
  • Follow standardized work instructions and production procedures.
  • Support production changeovers and other operational activities as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
  • Help reduce waste and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate production or quality records when required.
  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout the shift.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean work environment
