Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, creating a lively atmosphere while delivering exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for accurate order entry and cash handling
  • Manage cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end while adhering to cash handling procedures
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving
  • Restock bar supplies regularly and coordinate with management for inventory needs

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests
  • Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly without compromising service quality
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and inventory tracking
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
