As we continue to grow, we are looking for a VCIO (Virtual Chief Information Officer) to join our team.

About the Role

As the vCIO, you will act as a strategic advisor to MSP Corp’s clients, aligning their business objectives with effective and scalable IT strategies. Your role will be key in driving value through technology roadmaps, identifying business risks and opportunities, and ensuring that each client’s IT investments support long-term success. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-impact, business-aligned outcomes.

    :British Columbia OR Alberta
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Work Mode: Remote


What You’ll Do


  • Develop and maintain customized IT strategies that align with each client’s business goals.
  • Lead regular strategic business reviews (QBRs) to discuss performance, planning, and evolving IT needs.
  • Advise clients on risk management, cybersecurity, and compliance to ensure resilient operations.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to client industries and needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide consultative solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic IT guidance and innovation discussions.
  • Develop and manage multi-year technology roadmaps in coordination with clients and internal service teams.
  • Assist clients in IT budgeting, vendor management, and lifecycle planning to maximize ROI.
  • Ensure alignment between technology investments and business value delivery.
  • Work with MSP Corp’s sales teams and SME’s to provide technical pre-sales and draft scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with MSP Corp’s sales and service teams to ensure technical alignment with strategic goals.
  • Review and guide project execution to ensure client satisfaction and strategic consistency.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of issues that may impact strategic client initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations based on analytics and reporting to drive performance improvements.
  • Work with MSP Corp.’s service team leadership to ensure business expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client strategies, roadmaps, and meeting notes.
  • Use MSP Corp’s established tools and templates to standardize client-facing deliverables.
  • Ensure documentation reflects any risk assessments, business impact analyses, and decision logs.
  • Stay current on IT trends, security frameworks, and business technology solutions.
  • Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and leadership development programs.
  • Share knowledge and insights with internal teams to strengthen MSP Corp’s advisory capabilities.
  • Contribute to internal strategic planning, process development, and vCIO program improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to enhance client satisfaction and MSP Corp’s strategic service offerings.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or strategy—preferably in an MSP or customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to align IT with business needs in dynamic multi-client environments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with executive stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity (MDR), and digital transformation.
• Familair with current A.I. technology (AG, Copilot, Anthropic).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, network architecture, and industry compliance standards.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., vCIO, ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft, or AWS) are an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PSA and documentation platforms.
  • Experience writing IT roadmaps or selling IT solutions.
  • Well versed in Modern Workplace methodologies.
