Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have restaurant experience, proficiency with POS systems, and a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills and efficiency are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring timely service
  • Serve food and drinks in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, including bar and dining spaces
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as needed
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any special requests or concerns

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles, willing to train
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older, depending on local regulations
