Full job description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Server to join our team!

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years experience in a up-scale, fine dining restaurant, enjoys communicating with guests, is upbeat, has good wine knowledge , great food knowledge and is passionate about delivering great customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently
  • Provide menu recommendations, including wine pairings when appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas
  • Handle payments and process transactions
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff

Requirements:

  • Previous serving experience in upscale or fine dining restaurant
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Has wine knowledge

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

Experience:

  • Serving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve (required)

Work Location: In person
