Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Help maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition through regular cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least one year as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
