Oretta Front St. W. is hiring! We are looking for an experienced Host to join our team in both part-time and full-time capacities.

About Oretta
Our menu features classic Italian dishes with innovative twists, served in a stylish, high-volume, and fast-paced casual fine dining atmosphere. At Oretta, hospitality is paramount, and our team is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment for every guest.

About the Role
As a Host, you are the face of Oretta and the first point of contact for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering exceptional, friendly service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Managing reservations and seating using OpenTable.
- Maintaining host desk operations, completing daily checklists, and assisting on the floor
(clearing/resetting tables).
- Communicating effectively with the floor team and reporting to the Manager on duty.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant (casual fine dining preferred).
- Availability: Must be available 3–5 shifts a week (mostly evenings starting as early as 3 PM, and full weekend availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
- Strong proficiency with OpenTable is highly preferred; Tripleseat experience is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of Italian food and beverage, as well as Italian language skills, are considered assets.
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, multi-tasking ability, and a positive, professional attitude.

Compensation
We offer minimum wage plus a weekly tip-out for all support staff
