Full job description

The Rope Loft is looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender to join our team in Chester, Nova Scotia. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing great service while preparing quality drinks for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices
  • Assist with bar setup, stocking, and closing duties
  • Help coordinate reservations
  • Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff during busy service

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending or bar service experience is an asset
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during peak summer season
