Full job description

The Lake Joseph Club is Hiring!

Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent, you will operate light motorized equipment and hand tools, and perform related work on golf course. You will perform all duties with a focus on exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers, attention to detail and sensitivity for confidential material.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain property records of all golf course equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition before use.
  • Operate vehicles and powered equipment including mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chainsaws, electrical clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
  • Use various hand tools and equipment to care for the property by mulching, weeding, aerating, etc.
  • Gather and remove litter.
  • Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and stored in its proper location at the end of the shift.
  • Comply with all health and safety practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Ontario driver’s licence.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Available to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Enjoy working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
  • High regard for the health and safety of self and others.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • This is a seasonal role. Must be able to work through the Fall.
