Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and assist guests with selections through effective upselling techniques.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation practices during food handling and preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow and timely food preparation.
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
