Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality steaks in our in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, meal preparation, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and a passion for the food industry is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is cooked safely and maintained at proper temperatures
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
  • Adhere to restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and kitchen safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality
  • Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Prior experience with meal preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation is highly desirable

Pay: $24.00 per hour
