Job Overview

Copper Rose Distillery is seeking a Production & Distillery Operations Lead . Working closely with the Master Distiller, this position will support spirit production, packaging, sanitation, inventory and general distillery operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist with spirit production activities including raw material handling, batching, transfers, proofing, filtration, blending, and packaging.
  • Support bottling, labeling, case packing, palletizing, and finished goods preparation.
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, filters, still components, and production areas to maintain strong housekeeping and food-safe operating conditions.
  • Complete production logs, batch records, cleaning records, and other SOP or compliance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Quality control including in-process checks, sample collection, and batch consistency monitoring.
  • Monitor equipment during operation and report maintenance needs, process deviations, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Shipping and receiving.

Experience and Education

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a distillery, brewery, winery, or a beverage production setting.
  • Post secondary degree or diploma in chemistry, food science, brewing, distilling, or food processing.
  • Familiarity with lab procedures, QC testing, or technical process work.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with pumps, valves, hoses, tanks, and stills.
  • Forklift license is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
