The Sales & Social Media Coordinator provides superior customer service, intermediate administrative support, sells products and/or services that maximize revenues as identified in the specific property’s Strategic Plan, and provides brand specific social media support.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a key point of contact for Sales & Marketing within the property; liaises with internal and external contact to facilitate work outcomes
• Performs moderately complex tasks in area of specialty such as responding to product and service inquiries, assisting with the development of product and promotional material, and tracking account activity
• Support for the sales team. The position is 70% sales 30% Social Media.
• As a Social media coordinator, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.
• Promotes Coasts’ products and services; assists with the organization of Sales & Marketing campaigns and participates in tradeshows or other promotions related to the property
• Works with Sales Manager to identify and solicit new clients or target accounts to meet set business development
• Use social media platforms to sell our property using original content
• Collaborate with designers or copywriters to provide attractive informative campaigns.
• Coordinates meetings, events and/or activities related to sales function within the property
• Ensures timely processing of all activities to the sales function within the property, including detailed and updated client files are completed
• Drafts correspondence, prepares presentations, and coordinates related materials
• Maintains accurate files and organized sales automation techniques and customer communication standards
• Participates in site inspections, client appointments, client events as needed to broaden
• Ensures accurate billing and record maintenance; performs routine office duties including organizing files, mail distribution, ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory levels of sales collateral
• Demonstrates a customer service attitude with Ambassadors as well as toward external vendors and guests
• Researches and qualifies prospective initiatives that increase sales revenue and hotel promotional opportunities
• Activates records of all customer relationship management initiatives and sales activities utilizing the company assigned automation tools
• Other duties as required

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• 1 years related work experience.
• Hospitality Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience an asset.
• Advanced communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong phone manner/etiquette and communication skills with emphasis on a demonstrated ability to sell the hotel products and services.
• Intermediate level in the use of MS Office Suite, knowledge of a hotel reservations operating system, experience with Delphi is a considerable asset.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Some experience with conflict resolution.
