Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Use POS systems for order entry and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
  • Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
  • Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
  • Uphold food safety and handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this hospitality role
  • Must be fluent in written & speaking English & Canadian Citizen
  • Must have PRO Serve Certificate
  • Hours are Tuesday approximately 8 hours and Thursday evenings 4.5 hours with the possibility of additional hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
