Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Shediac snack bar. The ideal candidate will live our brand values of care and consistency, leading our small front-line team, managing inventory, and ensuring our high standards of food production, cleanliness, and customer service are reliably met every single day.

Responsibilities

· Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the daily shifts and activities of 3 to 4 staff members.

· Train and onboard team members on their daily duties, counter safety, and our strict store sanitation procedures.

· Monitor kitchen stock and packaging supplies; estimate daily ingredients to ensure a smooth, seamless service.

· Keep simple and accurate records of daily sales, current stock levels, equipment updates, and product wastage.

· Ensure all food and drink orders consistently meet our standards for great taste, quality, and presentation.

· Directly handle customer inquiries or feedback with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.

· Prepare and submit basic operational or inventory updates to management when required.

· Maintain a flexible schedule to work morning shifts, night shifts, weekends, and handle on-call duties as needed.

· Overtime may be required depending on daily store volume.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent industry experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of proven supervisory experience within a food service or commercial restaurant environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English communication is required.
• Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under peak operational pressure.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced commercial kitchen and food counter environment.
• On-site position; work must be completed at the physical business location (no remote options available).
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and physical movement during operational shifts.
