Full job description

MJR Capital Services Inc. is a well-established Canadian collection agency providing services to major financial institutions across the country. We have a fully staffed legal department, including in-house counsel and a team of experienced paralegals.

Due to rapid growth and a high volume of accounts, we are currently seeking Legal Collection Officers to join our team immediately.

What You’ll Do

  • Contact customers/debtors to arrange payment and negotiate solutions
  • Monitor accounts and track payment progress
  • Resolve billing and collection issues professionally and efficiently
  • Act as the first point of contact for basic inquiries
  • Maintain accurate account notes and documentation
  • Use online tools/skip tracing to locate customers with outdated contact information
  • Update accounts with new information and next steps
  • Achieve individual and team collection targets.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, both internal and external
  • Show respect toward customers, colleagues, and partners, even in challenging situations.
  • Exhibit strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability as part of our high‑performance team.
