Overview
Minnoz Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional guest experiences in a lively and welcoming environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of restaurant operations. Prior experience in the food industry is preferred but not required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Join us to deliver memorable dining experiences while developing your hospitality skills. This serving position is mostly breakfast shifts but occasional evening shifts also.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with setting up tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Manage guest requests promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience through excellent guest services
  • Maintain effective time management to handle multiple tables during busy periods

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
  • Ability to handle food preparation tasks or assist in kitchen operations is a plus
  • Basic math skills for order accuracy, billing, and cash handling
  • Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
