Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, relief from pain, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
  • Assess client conditions and discuss their goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations.
  • Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
  • Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and health conditions.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
