Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and garnishing to ensure quality presentation
  • Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and tasks
  • Follow all safety protocols related to food preparation, storage, and sanitation practices
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, energetic atmosphere that promotes teamwork and excellence

Experience

  • Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Experience in meal preparation and serving in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing to a dynamic kitchen team
