Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen team member to join our food service operation. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation, cooking, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Cook a variety of dishes while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining staff
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and cleanliness at all times
  • Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
