Position: Shift Manager – Liberty Village

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Shift Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting our staff in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations during assigned shifts, including service and takeout (third-party platforms included).
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Support and develop staff performance, skills, and professional growth.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor and verify server, bar, and host cashouts and side duties.
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Skills

  • Valid Smart Serve certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Food Handlers.
  • Bartending knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with cash handling and POS systems (an asset).
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for exceptional food, service, and hospitality.
