Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, supporting the kitchen staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

If your experienced in Asian cooking such as Lao, ThaI, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and would like to learn more and grow, if your passionate about food and cooking we‘re looking for you!!

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and measuring food items
  • Support the cooking team by ensuring all ingredients are ready for meal assembly and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met
  • Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies
  • Support the overall kitchen operations during busy periods, ensuring timely meal preparation

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
  • Familiarity with serving procedures and meal presentation is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within restaurant hours
