Bangkok Food Truck is growing and looking for an experienced Cook / Line Cook to join our team.

We are a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focused on fresh ingredients, consistency, and high-volume service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on cooking, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in producing quality food quickly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook Thai-inspired dishes and menu items
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Assist with prep, inventory, and kitchen organization
  • Monitor food portions and minimize waste
  • Help receive and stock food and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
  • Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
  • Assist with training and supervising kitchen helpers when needed

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of cooking or line cook experience in a restaurant, food truck, or commercial kitchen
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable, organized, and dependable
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting kitchen supplies
  • Team-focused attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
  • Experience with Thai cuisine is an asset, but not required

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • A criminal record check may be required
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes

Schedule

  • Full-time permanent position
