Size & Fit Technician – Ladieswear

Location: Montreal, QC

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Size & Fit Technician to join our growing ladieswear team in Montreal. This role is ideal for someone passionate about garment construction, fit consistency, and product quality, with a strong understanding of women’s apparel.

Working closely with Design, Production, and Technical Design teams, the Size & Fit Technician will play a key role in ensuring all garments meet company fit standards, quality expectations, and customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fit sessions on live models and evaluate garment fit, balance, and construction
  • Measure samples and compare specifications against approved tech packs
  • Identify fit issues and recommend corrections to achieve optimal fit and consistency
  • Communicate fit comments and revisions clearly to overseas vendors and factories
  • Maintain grading and sizing standards across multiple product categories
  • Collaborate with Design and Production teams throughout the development process
  • Review construction details, workmanship, fabric behavior, and overall garment quality
  • Track sample approvals and ensure timelines are met
  • Support product development from prototype through production approval

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in size & fit, technical design, or garment technology within ladieswear
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit
  • Excellent understanding of fabrics, stretch properties, and garment performance
  • Experience conducting fit sessions and communicating technical corrections
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PLM systems is an asset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
