Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for building business and fostering client relationships?

This role is all about managing a well-established client base, expanding the product categories withing existing accounts while prospecting for new opportunities across the Northern Alberta and BC Regions. As part of Diversco Supply Inc., a leading wholesale distributor in the propane and natural gas industry for over 35 years, you’ll be at the forefront of customer relationships and business development.

You'll enjoy the support of a collaborative team environment while having the autonomy to develop and execute your own sales strategies. Job Responsibilities

  • Represent Diversco's industry-leading product lines by leveraging our exceptional customer service, technical expertise, and industry-leading product availability.
  • Schedule, prepare for, and conduct strategic customer meetings, both in person and virtually.
  • Take a consultative approach to customer interactions, identifying challenges and delivering solutions that support mutual business growth.
  • Grow an established customer base while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Promote and sell existing products and services while introducing new solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and exceptional service.
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities, prepare quotations, and follow up to secure business.
  • Participate in industry associations, trade shows, and customer events to strengthen relationships and stay informed of industry trends.
  • Assist in establishing and achieving territory sales objectives and performance targets.
  • Provide regular feedback on market activity, customer needs, competitive developments, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Several years of successful sales experience, preferably in a consultative B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing priorities with initiative, creativity, and efficiency.
  • Results-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and develop long-term partnerships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience within industrial equipment, fuels, gases, HVAC, testing equipment, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout BC, AB and other assigned territories (if applicable).
