Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service and a passion for hospitality, with strong skills in customer interaction, food safety, and efficient service. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant restaurant environment dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
  • Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing purposes
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar, dining space, and service stations
  • Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to health regulations
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
