Live-in Resident Caretaker Wanted for Building

We are seeking one person or couple to serve as a live-in resident caretaker for our building. This is a live-in position with housing provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in property management, maintenance, and tenant relations.

Responsibilities include:

  • General property maintenance and upkeep (both inside and outside)
  • Cleaning common areas (hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, etc.)
  • Managing garbage and recycling collection/disposal
  • Lawn care and snow removal (as needed)
  • Monitoring building security and addressing tenant concerns
  • Managing tenant move-ins and move-outs (conducting inspections, etc.
  • Coordinating with contractors for larger repairs or maintenance issues
  • Ensuring compliance with building rules and regulations
  • On-call availability for emergencies

Qualifications:

  • Previous caretaking or property management experience preferred
  • Basic maintenance skills (handyman/woman abilities)
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and emergencies
